Community Currency - What Passes for Healthy Exchange

The currency says, "Eat Better, Move More, Make Good Social Contacts, Avoid Harm" with open space.

If distributed as a check, would it go to the Bank right away? Would it trade on a tilted table? Could it fuel a Farmer's Market or specials at Busch's? Would the Hardware and Pharmacy deal with favored items?
